Salvador Dali Using Naked Models To Form Human Skull.

In Voluptas Mors.

For years you've been seeing in your social media feed that famous image of a human skull made out of naked women. Very few are aware it's the work of Salvador Dali.

Like many other things Dali has made during his amazing career, that image became part of the pop culture, and influenced many other artists and designers.

Here's a few step by step, how he made it.

The BBC Is Bringing Back The Twilight Zone As a Radio Drama

How cool! The BBC brings back The Twilight Zone, but as a radio drama! Will we end up with another story like The Night That Panicked America...?

"Ten classic episodes of The Twilight Zone will be broadcast in the UK for the first time—but, much like the show's trademark, there's a twist. The episodes will be reinvented as radio plays taken from Rod Serling's original TV scripts, thanks to BBC Radio 4 Extra."

Dee Snider's Strangeland Sequel In The Works - Finally!

Awesome news! Dee Snider announced on Twitter that a Strangeland sequel is in the works, finally!

Released in 1998, the original Strangeland introduced a live action character from a Twisted Sister song, Captain Howdy. Carlton Hendricks (Capt. Howdy) is a sadistic S&M freak who used the internet to lure girls into his very twisted torture dungeon. Dee Snider stars as Captain Howdy. Snider also wrote the screenplay, based on events and characters of their classic heavy metal album "Stay Hungry". Welcome back to the big screen, Dee Snider!

Christopher Petzel, producer, also confirms the sequel is coming:

Death House Horror Movie Reunites The Best Names In Horror!

In pre-production right now, Death House aims to become the Expandables of horror, gathering together all the horror icons from our favorite movies. Can't go wrong with such a dream (or nightmare?) lineup...

The plot is around two federal agents fighting their way through nine levels of Hell inside a secret prison known as the Death House. A facility-wide prison break will turn their flight into a tour of horrors as they push toward the ultimate evil housed in the lowest depths of the earth.

Originally written by Gunnar Hansen (Leatherface) who passed away in November 2015, the screenplay has been completed by Harrison Smith (6 Degrees Of Hell). This film may very well become the ultimate cult classic for all horror afficionados!

Cast includes:
Dee Wallace • Danny Trejo • Robert Englund • Kane Hodder • Bill Moseley • Michael Berryman • Barbara Crampton • Doug Bradley • Camille Keaton • Ken Foree • Torsten Voges

Gravitational Distortions, Black Holes And Boundaries Of The Universe

With all this hype lately around gravitational waves and black holes, I figured it is a great time to re-watch (again) my all time favorite cult classic: Event Horizon (1997).

I must have seen this film at least a hundred times, and I just can't get enough of Event Horizon. That's Hellraiser meets Alien, a fabulous film directed by Paul W. S. Anderson.

And a galerie of some cool pics from the film... Sweet dreams!

Scientists Confirm LIGO Has Measured Gravitational Waves In Space And Time

"A team of physicists who can now count themselves as astronomers announced on February 11th that they had heard and recorded the sound of two black holes colliding a billion light-years away, a fleeting chirp that fulfilled the last prophecy of Einstein’s general theory of relativity.

That faint rising tone, physicists say, is the first direct evidence of gravitational waves, the ripples in the fabric of space-time that Einstein predicted a century ago. And it is a ringing (pun intended) confirmation of the nature of black holes, the bottomless gravitational pits from which not even light can escape, which were the most foreboding (and unwelcome) part of his theory.

More generally, it means that scientists have finally tapped into the deepest register of physical reality, where the weirdest and wildest implications of Einstein’s universe become manifest.

Conveyed by these gravitational waves, an energy 50 times greater than that of all the stars in the universe put together vibrated a pair of L-shaped antennas in Washington State and Louisiana known as LIGO on Sept. 14."
